Harman Kardon Go + Play

Harman Kardon Go + Play is the latest release in the series of iPod speaker system. Like other Harman Kardon devices, this new speaker system is known for its outstanding performance particularly in the bass section. The device is potable with rechargeable battery.

Design
The system is designed as a highly sophisticated boom box containing both heavy duty music and subtle features. The oblong shape and black satin finish give it a very cool look. However, there are a few drawbacks in its sleek design. Firstly, the iPod screen is too small to watch video on the screen. Secondly, there’s a flaw in the location of the handle which makes the functioning of the remote a little problematic.

Connections
The device’s connection options include four connections for USB output, AC power input, aux input, and S-Video output. The connections are protected against damage from dust and moisture by flexible rubber flap enclosing each of the connections.

Features

One of the key features of this device is the RF equipped remote control. This enables you to control your device without pointing the remote towards the speakers.
However with FM radio, clock, and LCD to display song titles missing in the speaker system, there are a very few features available. These include a S-video output to watch videos on your iPod and a USB port to connect the device with your iPod.
Although at $300, Go+ Play is a little overpriced, when you consider its performance vis-à-vis sound quality, no other audio system can beat Harman Kardon Go + Play’s sound quality.
